The University of MN fountains featured at Gateway Alumni Center are a very unique series of water features with the indoor feature mirroring the outdoor feature. Indoor is a 110 foot long series of geometric shaped granite stone profiles that have a constant film of water wetting the stone surfaces and flowing into a recessed trough. The main outdoor feature consists of a 10,000 sq. ft. multi-level pool which is a terraced reflective body of water. The second outdoor feature is a triangular raised pool/platform, the water falls into a lower pool creating a strong sound emission.
